Morah Chanie is an amazing teacher. My son gets so excited when it is time for zoom with Morah Chanie. We love to go over the Parsha he learns over Shabbat dinner. Chanie truly knows how to draw the children into the lesson and teaches them in such creative ways. We feel so blessed to have her as our teacher.

As a long time homeschool mother, I have done my research and learned about The Gesher Program in the past. We were sad to learn that we lived too far. But with classes being virtual (due to COVID) we had the opportunity to join. Morah Chanie is AMAZING! She makes sure to take the needs of each class and each individual into respective classes and methods of teaching. My children (three currently enrolled) can't wait for their next class, and they are excited to see their friends in class too!

Chanie uses her boundless creativity, unbelievable enthusiasm and unique way of organically connecting with her students to teach Chumash, Tanach and Halacha. She never waters down the lessons but constantly keeps the kids engaged, filling them with knowledge and a foundation which she passionately believes all Jewish kids deserve, even if they aren’t enrolled in a traditional yeshiva. In her quiet, unobtrusive way, she has single-handedly challenged the status quo of Jewish education by offering a high-quality, impactful Talmud Torah experience (circa 2020!) for parents who are looking beyond their local day school as way to educate their kids.

Having our daughter attend Gesher has been so fabulous for her! Not only does she thrive and have fun with her limudei kodesh lessons and activities but it's the relationships she has forged with her Morot and friends that will always stay with her.

Morah Chanie is my kids favorite judaica teacher. She is so fun, so calm (the kids say they have never seen her in a “grumpy mood”) and the material is so well organized and we’ll delivered, they are learning so much. Highly recommend!!

Morah Chanie runs an amazing Gesher program. The classes are interesting and engaging, and we continue to be astounded by how much our kiddo learns. Even more importantly, he’s excited for his zoom classes (a feat of its own) and it has provided him with a virtual learning community at a time when he has had to separate from his regular and local learning community. Morah Chanie is thoughtful and clearly is experienced and effective as a teacher. As a program director, she is also super responsive and considers suggestions and input. We are impressed and so grateful for this awesome resource!!

When we became, suddenly, a homeschool family this year our biggest concern was: how would our kids continue to grow in their understanding of Judaic subjects on par with a day school education? We needn’t have worried, Gesher has been amazing for my kindergarten and third grade students. Morah Chanie is a charismatic and effective teacher and the group of their peers each class is great also!
